The questions we get asked most.
How much does it cost?
Depends on the scope. A kitchen reno is one conversation, a new home build is another. We quote properly after we've walked the site with you. Phone estimates are usually wrong and they waste everyone's time. Tell us about your project and we'll give you a real number.
How long does it take?
Depends on what you're building. Kitchen reno is typically 6 to 8 weeks. Bathroom 4 to 6. Extensions 3 to 5 months. New builds 8 to 12 months from slab to handover, weather and council permitting. We give you a realistic timeline in the contract, not an optimistic one.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. NSW Builder's Licence #474525C (verifiable on NSW Fair Trading's website). We carry full public liability insurance, home warranty insurance on every residential build, and workers comp for the whole crew. Certificates available on request.
Can I see past work or speak to past clients?
Yes to both. Our portfolio page has completed projects with photos. If you want to talk to a past client, we'll put you in touch with someone whose project was similar to yours. References are part of our standard process. We're not precious about them.
What's included in your quote?
Everything we can see and price from the plans. The quote itemises every line: materials, labour, trades, disposal, inclusions. If it's not in the quote, we don't surprise-charge you for it later. If you want something extra mid-build, we quote it separately and you decide.
What happens if I change my mind during the build?
Tell us. We'll quote the variation in writing, you approve it, we do the work. No surprises. Changing scope mid-build can affect timeline and cost. We'll explain the knock-on before you decide, not after. Most projects have a few variations. That's normal.
